Website reset timing changed ??
Posted: Sunday, July 18, 2010 - 12:15 PM UTC
Hi all. Just noticed a change in the reset timing. When I'm in the "latest posts" page, and go to "This Site" to just show Aeroscale threads ('coz they're the best !!), I can no longer toggle using my web browser "back" button, the web page seems to reset in about 5 seconds so I have to refresh the page. It doesn't happen with any other forums. Anybody else having the same trouble ??

That will happen with some browsers (I use Chrome and it's happening to me now). IE doesn't make you reload I think.
I reason it happens is because those pages are setup as form submission pages to keep people from bookmarking them (for server load issues).
Thanks,
Jim

it does not make sense, i think
the only consequence is that i now have to click twice to go back to the latsest post page after havign read a post.
i think that this set-up is increasing the server load.

Happens with me as well Dave. Not a major worry, just a little irritating .
