G'day all!

I am looking for information on Ray Collishaw's Sopwith Camel. Osprey has profiles of D3417 which it identifies as Collishaw's but there is an important bit missing. I have one each of the 1/32 Hobbycraft Camels, the Le Rhone and Clerget boxes and would like to use the Clerget kit to do good old B6313. So the obvious question is: Could D3417 (Collishaw's) be Le Rhone powered?

Any guidance would be, of course, very much appreciated!

Greetings Mike,
Truthfully most Sop. F.1 Camels assigned to the "former" RNAS units were built on contract to be powered by the Bentley B.R.1 150hp rotary.

D3417 was in the production batch D3326 -D.3425 under contracts A.S.7861 (dated 4.8.17) and A.S.35971 (dated 22.11.17). It arrived on 27.5.18 and was still on the unit rolls as of 1.19 (as C.O.'s machine). It was flown by Collishaw, Rochford and several others at various time but Collishaw seemed to fly it on a semirgular basis. It was evidently fitted with Cooper bomb racks.

The Bentley was a bigger motor and as I have recently discovered had the over lapping upper cowling deck extending over the engine cowling on the RNAS contract F.1 and 2F.1 types.
