I have the Fujimi 1/72 of this and I don't know if the kit is supposed to come with 2 sets of instructions but mine does.
The first set gives the optional torpedo or 2 bombs (250kg bombs maybe?) as the payload and 4 sets of markings for what looks like land based units.
The second set is for a plane based on Zuikaku but the armament in the instructions puzzles me. It looks like it has 8 machine guns in the wings, plus some railing like objects (radar perhaps?) on the fuselage sides. The payload options are 6 small bombs (50kgs maybe?), 1 large bomb (800kg?) and something that looks like a very large fuel tank with 4 sets of double railing like objects on each side.
My question is - what is the plane from Zuikaku? I can't find any info about any B6N having 8 guns in the wings and I would like to know what the fuel tank like thing is.
thanks
Mike
