Tamiya 1/48 Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero Type 22, Released the other week from Tamiya... Built out of the box, added Ignition wires to the engine and Eduard PE Seat Harness. Warpigs Paint Mask were use to paint the Hinomaru's and the crosses
The are markings are of Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero #2-182 that was surrendered to the RNZAF at Kara airstrip in Southern Bougainville. New Britain, Sept 1945. I love it! Exactly the choice of oddball paint job I relish, and wish decal manufacturers would think more often of offering (not that they need to in this case)...

Very cool subject - i live close to the mueseum and have been and seen this plane in the flesh a few times.
