I have the Trumpeter 1/32 P-38 and the Cutting Edge conversion sets to back date it. I'd like to do Dick Bong's H model, #79. I've seen pictures that show a black name board above the 16-21 kill flags on the nose, and can see that the top name is Capt. R.I. Bong. Can anyone tell me what the other names are?

I think I can type this up and print it on white decal film, but I'd like to have the names right. Thanks!!

I ran into the same thing you did!
While I can see the black box with white writing, I cannot make out the names!
Im assuming its the crew chief name,etc for his plane.

I would almost say use a white berol pencil on the black square and write in whatever names you want!
Or match the general shapes of the unreadable squiggles lol
