Hi Guys

A Family Friend was a Lancaster Pilot during the war, having attended the Elvington show and picked up a 48 Scale tamiya Lanc for a good price (50 quid) i've decided to build it as a tribute to him, and give it to him once finished. I need to find out the Squadron and Aircraft codes for his plane, but that is easily done, then Mal the Mask can sort out those for me.

I've got the kit, and a few little extras for it, Montex Masks, Replacement gun barrels, Resin squishy wheels and the basic interior and seat belts care of Eduard..

I'll be making a start on this tomorrow, cockpit here we come...

Cheers for that Shaun.

Very useful link, and highlighted a few pit falls to avoid.

Well we've have a productive morning, removing ejection pin marks, and replacing lost internal detail.

Off for a touch of priming...

Interior green sprayed.

The front portion of the fuse is the bomb aimers area, this is painted matt black. I've oversprayed a bit of green to indicate a touch of wear allowing the green underneath to show through.

More soon. Thanks for looking

Andy
