The instructions for my 1:48 Eduard Albatros DV are woefully inadequate in the area of rigging. There is a half-hearted diagram included, but it's ambiguous at best. Does there exist overhead drawings of upper and lower wings (and everywhere else, for that matter!) with drill hole locations clearly indicated?
Also, as I am very new to the WWI genre, can someone tell me if that wing-like covering on the wheel axle has an official name?
Thank you-

As to the overall rigging there are several threads here that cover it well. Especially current threads on finished Wingnut Wings (WNW) 1:32 kits. The axle wing is coveres with 4 sections of 3mm plywood. Two sections upper two lower. To find these quickly go to the stickied thread on the WNW GB and look on the last page. Another exellent reference here are the 1:32 and 1:48 Albatros D. builds Brad Cancian, Carl Althaus, Keith Graveson and Jan Klarbęk.
The king of the Eduard 1:48 Albatros D. V kit builds here is Dwayne Williams.
Here are some fine finished efforts by him(last page of his current thread). Read the whole thread to get the whole good.

Note there are some diiferences in the D.V and D.V a.

Mark,
Another quick way is to go to Wingnut Wings website and download the instruction manual, theres a simple to follow rigging diagram on that and a few pics to give you an idea where to put turnbuckles if you are. The downside is that once at WNW your credit card might get a little stressed.

Thank you Keith. Great minds think alike (I did this last night!).
Still a tad confusing, as I can't see exact entry points for the thread, but I guess I can take the diagrams and the photos of the various builds I see here and average everything out. Short of walking around an actual D.V, I dunno what else to do!
Yes those Wingnuts kits have me drooling. I recently inherited two 1:32 Roden kits (Albatros D.III and S.E.5a) and I think I'm sold on WWI planes now.

We owe much thanks to Peter Jackson (decent fellow that he is.) Lord of the Wings.
