I have been working on this for months, I used HO scale turnbuckles for the rigging, what do you think? the originals were longer and thinner brass items. This is my first biplane build, this kit is so bogus, but good enough for practice.

the infamous academy decals applied rather successfully? what is not apparent on this photo is the transparency of the white area, looks mottled, tried to get it perfect? no way I used the JackFlash method on the rigging finishing paint after rigging cleaned up on lower surface of lower wing and upper surface of upper wing, seems very strong.

I am trying to determine the best way to secure the rudder, this kit does not feature easily secured items on some parts

Looking good so far ! Still needs rudder, weapons and as you said, prop finish. The turnbuckles are pretty killer. They look more in scale with your 1/32 than 1/72! In the overhead shot, it appears the tailplane maybe kicked to one side. Could be the AC is tilted in the photo? Might want to look into that.
In the photos, try to use muted lighting without the camera flash. Coffe filters taped or placed in front of the lighting works OK, White T-shirt fabric works even better. Place the lights around your subject so there is no shadow and therefor no need for flash. Experiment with it. You'll learn a lot and much cheaper and faster than 'old school' film takes.
Cheers!

it is crooked I am going to move on as I feel I would totally ruin the model trying to correct the flaw, I am going with wingnut wings next time, I hope they go together easier. thanks for the great photo tips as I do want to keep the cost down.
