The Barak is the Kinetic tooling.
The interesting thing is whose toolings the Sabre and the Stuka are. True Italeri has the old Esci tooling of the Sabre, however Italeri seems to be starting to rebox others moldings more often. There is an F-111F that is the Academy tooling and there are some 35th armor kits (one is a US tank destroyer, but I cannot remember exactly which - the Achilles?) that are Academy repops. Now Academy has a good tooling of a Sabre, could it be the source? Well now lets see whose Stuka it is. In 48th there are only a couple of Berta models, Airfix and Hasegawa. Now is it one of these or a new tooling? And last interesting thing, if Italeri is reboxing a Hasegawa tooling, could they rebox a Hasegawa Sabre?
It's great to have a bit of mystery in our hobby isn't it!
THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!
