Don't know if I posted this before. It wasn't in my gallery, so thought I would share it. If I have put this up, please forgive. This is the 1/72 scale Bell P-39 Airacobra by Academy. I dressed the nose up with some numbers from a P-40, the nose art name came from a P-47. Not a bad kit. Enjoy. Russell

I have that kit in my stash but it will have VVS markings. For all their faults, I have to say Academy kits usually build up well and look more or less like the actual subject.
I saw one of these fly at the Flying Legends show at RAF Duxford a few years ago. Was nice to see that, also it was on static display the year before with the nose opened up showing its big cannon and big bullets

I agree Mike, Academy do have pretty good kits. For the price it is hard to find a better bargain. The decals have even improved as time and complaints have gone on! Ha ha Russell
