I was digging around in the stash looking in the MRC helos (UH-1's) and found that they packed the vinyl ammo chutes with the clear plastic parts..
over the last 9 years the vinyl has melted itself into the clear parts..

ruined one set of clear parts...

if you have the kit in the stash, might want to pull the vinyl parts out and put them in a paper envelope..

I found the same problem when I checked an AMT Tigercat...

The horror stories are true... vinyl and polystyrene really don't seem to mix...

Thanks for the heads up. Just checked my MRC UH-1C "Frog" kit and it doesn't have ammo chutes but threads like this one are why I love this site. It is like everyone constantly waving everyone else through the four way stop. "I found out the hard way and I don't want you to have the same problem that I did." type action. Where else in the world to you get this?
