I am looking at picking up one of those Kinetic 48th scale Israeli F-16's. First how is the kit quality? From what I can gather it is pretty good. The next is the colors. I want to do the pale green, sand and dark brown camo pattern. I prefer Modelmaster enamels. So what are the closest colors to do that?

Steve,
I have the kit and think it's pretty good. It doesn't fall together like Tamiya, but a little care and I think you've got a great model
Model Master certainly does all the colors. I don't have any of my IAF F-16 references here at the office, but here's a link to a color list on Cybermodeler that I believe is correct:
http://www.cybermodeler.com/aircraft/f-16/f-16d_profile01.shtml
They have a review of the kit there too. If I remember (hah! ) I'll try to have a look at my IsraDecal info on the Sufa when I get home and update this post as needed.
Good luck and welcome to Heyl Ha'avir modeling!

OK I'm skunked on the paint. Found the brown, sand and the light gray colors in Model Master Enamels , but no joy with the green. Loked at the FS numbers (FS34424 green )

The colour is fairly close to RAF Sky. Agama have it in their range. Tamiya XF-21 is said to match it. Start from there.

Have you looked at the Xtracolour range from Hannants? I'm sure they do the green your looking for.

RAF Sky is a pretty good match and I'm sure Model Master has that in it's range. Also note that the brown on the conformal tanks is a teensy bit darker than normal as they're locally manufactured. Most folks don't worry about that, I'm just letting you know in case you're interested.
