I was recently commissioned to build this 1/72 scale, Hobbycraft of Canada, DeHavilland Caribou. It is the first post WW2 Army aircraft I've built in some time. It wasn't a bad kit, although you have to use the box art for decal placement since the instructions don't come with any!

I built it gear up, it is being sent to South Dakota to a retired Army aviator, an officer who flew the Caribou in Vietnam and he also flew Bell AH-1's, the Cobra helicopter. I hope he likes it and you all enjoy looking as well. Russell

P.S. The fuselage windows are milky since the Krystal Clear window maker I used is still drying.

I like it, from what I can see. Perhaps after it dries completely you will entertain us with more photos and different angles???

I'm wondering; How do you plan to mount it?

Thank you Guy, Dirk and Fred. I plan to have it hanging with monofilament from the wings and fuselage, probably attached to an eye hook. Although what it is mounted too will be up to the owner of the kit.

More photos to come. Stand by. Thanks again. Russell

Nice one Russel, I'm sure your client will love it. Thanks for posting the pictures. Great to see a model aircraft wheels up. All the best.
