Here's as far as I got with my model before college. I just have to do the canopy and a few flat coats and I'll be all done! Keep in mind, I still consider myself a beginner at modeling (despite nearly eight years of trying...) so don't judge me too hard please!

Here's the link to my photobucket album. The shots are in a weird order though...use your logic to figure it out. http://s894.photobucket.com/albums/ac143/rgoldberg91/Alouette%20II%20with%20SS-11%20Missiles/

My spare canopy pieces came in and I'm going home for the weekend! Hopefully I can at least mask them, maybe even get a coat or two in.

Looks good, Robby. The missiles almost look bigger than the chopper. Looking forward to see more.

It is a little difficult to sort out the pictures. Since you have already uploaded your pictures to photobucket it is very easy to post the best ones here. Just use the [IMGhttp://code[/IMG] to paste the pictures in the tread as I have done with the picture below.

Yeah, those missiles were pretty beastly! Rather ineffective, though...

Concerning the pictures, how's this Jesper?

Sort of...I'm in college right now so I really can't do much more with this kit while I'm here. I did bring the canopy with me and I finished masking it with Parafilm-M over the weekend. I'll be home for Thanksgiving and I hope to at least get the canopy painted, if not finish the whole model! Wishful thinking, I know...

How about posting it here too. Some of us don't frequent the fixed-wing forums.

Sorry about that! I usually switch between all of the forums, so I didn't really realize that other people would just stay on a few forums...by bad...

Here's the link to my photobucket album of the build, and below it is a picture of the final product. I was under a lot of stress after my first quarter at college and so the canopy did not turn out the way I wanted it at all...much too sloppy!

It came out pretty good. Not too bad around the canopy. Did you put the canapoy on then tape it off and spray the frames? If not, that is the way to go. It usually comes out much better that way.

No I didn't! I think I felt that if I did that, it would be too difficult to mask the whole thing. Keep in mind that this was my first experience with Parafilm. Now that I understand how the stuff works, I think I'll have a bit more confidence in my abilities. Also, I will be avoiding massive canopies from now on.
