Hi guys,
Im building a Battle of Britain Heinkel He111H-6 for the Big Beautiful Bombers campaign, and am hunting about for a 1:48 20mm MG FF/M kit. Plenty of brass barrels on eBay, and several kits in 1:72 and 1:32 scale, but not a sausage in 1:48.
Anyone know where I might be able to find some hardware to up-arm that nice big greenhouse gondola?
All the best,
Aaron

Aires makes some. Set #4061:
Guessing from the mentioning of He 111, that's a probably a flexible-mounted cannon you're after?

The Verlinden German Aircraft Weapons set has a couple of nice MG FFs. I used one in my Heinkel. Combine that with a metal barrel- oo lala!!

Many thanks guys - Eetu, for some reason I couldn't find these on the Aires website when I looked. Definitely yes, im after a flexible mounted gun for the forward position in the gondola, although it may get relegated to the ventral position. Do you think one of these do the trick?
-ed. Chuck - just saw the Verlinden set - hot damn! I think its a winner!!
Thanks guys

I couldn't find the 1:48 scale MG FF on Aires' website either (probably because it's still under construction, as it says), but a quick googling turned that up.
This is the Verlinden set we're talking about, right?
Indeed, that looks like a much better choice than Aires for this bomber use, as it's already got that flexible-mount stuff included.
