Hello All,

My first post. I stumbled across this site while researching cameras (Nikon D90). I use to build models (as you’ll see my interest was with jets) through my teens and into my twenties, but once I graduated college I lost interest due to new career and other new hobbies. So I boxed up all the kits and accessories, banishing them to the depths of the closet. I have hauled that box around for close to 15 years! I’m surprised I kept that box. Anyway, what an incredible site with great info on techniques and tips! And WOW kits have gotten expensive! After spending sometime looking through this site and the gallery (there are some AWESOME builds!), I decided to dig out that stored box and see what was in there since I have long forgotten. This is what I found:

1/48 Hasegawa F14D Kit SP44
1/48 Hasegawa F15E Kit P8
1/48 Hasegawa F4G Kit P4
1/48 Hasegawa F16C Kit V3
1/48 Hasegawa F16C Kit V4
1/48 Tamiya A10A Series No. 12
1/48 Monogram EA-6B
1/48 Monogram MIG29
1/48 Monogram AV8B
1/48 Italeri Tornado IDS No. 834
1/72 DML YF22
1/72 DML YF23
1/144 Revell B52G
1/35 Tamiya M48A3

A few parts have been painted in a few of these kits but nothing really assembled. With this many kits I may have to see if I can ignite that interest again…….

Mike

P.S. Anyone on this site from Portland, OR?

Hi Mike

welcome to aeroscale! To re-ignite interest I would pick something easy an your stack does not really look like that... maybe the F-16s.

Think about picking something new. The Tamiya 48 scale armour series is great for such a task not too expensive (which of course can be discussed) and easy to complete. Or maybe a Tamiya Bf 109 or P-51 (but you are more into jets)

in any way good luck and do not forget to have fun!

all the best

Steffen
