Hi all

as you know I built this kit over the past weeks. It was really fun and everything worked well. Fit is very good and I had only one slight problem. Nontheless I testfit very often and clamped the fuselage halfs together when I glued the interior stuff to the right fuselage.

One thing is wrong in the instructons. Do not glue part A10 to the left fuselage half as it interferes with a knob on the firewall that it should be glued to ...

Here are my pix from the construction process:

weather is bad so I will take some better pix of the finished model when it clears up. I will publish a build article to my site soon.

all the best

Thank you!

Stephen: Well I did not want to do a real build log, as I was not sure I would finish it and I do not need another "dead" build log. Luckily it is finished now

Jean-Luc: Yes I will bring it and the Albatros D.V to Thionville. I will meet Marc and Geoffroy on Saturday and we will drive with just one car to you ... guess Marc has already informed you

all the best

Weather improved only slightly and i might have found an omission (or two) that need to be added, but here is the finished pix:

Guten Tag Steffan:

I really like how your airplane turned out. I have the Glencoe release, but why go through the torture of building that. This looks really good and I will probably pop for one. Thanks for taking the time to share your work and your pictures.

Best

Thanks Mate!!

Don't bother with the Glencoe. The Eduard kit is their best WW1 model to date and really a joy to build (despite the slip in the instructions) ! And you get a box with all you need for a reasonable price.

all the best

There is also the Blue Max / Freightdog 1:48 kit a decent kit by most accounts.
