Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forums and I have built models on and off for a long time now but I still consider myself a newbie learning new strategies. I recently decided to work on two kits simultaneously, one being a Revell 1/48 F-4J Phantom II and a 1/48 Hasegawa FW 190 A-3. I was thinking of making things a little easier on myself and priming them black on the spruces.
Does anyone have any thoughts about this? Good or bad experiences or any recommendations?

It's not of the wall, I've primed, painted and even weathered parts on sprue sections. When needed I cut them of and simply touch up it up. Great choice with the F-4J.
