Here is the latest from my workbench, the 1/48 scale Tamiya Focke-Wulf Ta 183. This model was built O.O.B. except for the main wheels which were taken from a Tamiya Fw 190 kit. I also cut the canopy in two to display the canopy in the opened position.
Paints used were Model Master enamels, markings came from my decal spares box.

And here is the Ta 183 after the war ended under new management...

Great work there Les! A good looking bird indeed. Do you know of any kits which are half decent of this aircraft in 1/72 scale? Thanks, Russell.

Thanks Russell!

There is a nice 1/72 scale kit of this aircraft made by PM of Turkey, I have built two of them so far and have four others in my kit stash. The PM kit of the Ta 183 is one of their better kits, it has a very sparse cockpit but that can easily be fixed by fitting in a Fw 190 cockpit, and the decals are not good but besides those two things its a good kit and not very expensive either.
