Just wondering if I did ok. While attending the Robins AFB Model Show, I picked up
the Eduard 1103 Nieuport-16, 1102 Hanriot HD.1 and 8084 Albatros W.4 for $16 each, factory sealed. What cought my eye was the Albatros on pontoons, first time I've seen one.

The W.4 is generally not easy to find, and considering what these retail for... you did sweet!

Agreed the Eduard / Flashback Alb.W.4 is OOP and a great kit to have, The others are good choices as well. 11xx series are white box Limited editions. But let me give you a bit of a head's up. The factory sealed issue applies only to the bagged items. The Boxes are not shrink-wrapped from the factory. You will find that hobby store shrink-wrap their kits to prevent someone from pilfering parts.

That must be why I noticed that the box lids were taped shut, with the shrink wrap over them.

Guys, is Eduard's Alb W.4 the same kit as Gavia's?
Seems to be still available on Modelimex - 1/48 Albatros W.4
Is it really so rare (if the content is the same)?

Went on the link and compared it to my parts. Looks the same except for the addition of the resin parts and different markings and decals.
