Yes, well spotted Geoff, the front struts should be almost vertical.
Nick: a pity that forum is private, it seems to go against much of the purpose of forums (e.g. teaching/learning new skills, for anybody who wants to teach/learn)

There are many examples that the undercarriage sit far back than usual.

That is amazing. The best Lancaster I ever saw. Thumbs up for this work. Spending a year of ones life with this, that is real dedication.

Someone has mixed up their Lancasters.
The ‘Girl in a Champagne Glass’ was Lancaster Mk I LL804 belonging to W/Cdr Teofil Pożyczka. By mid-August 1944 he had completed his first operational tour and started his second marked by four champagne glasses.
At the end of February 1945, just before decommissioning, the aircraft displayed 30 bombs – Pożyczka’s first tour, 20 champagne glasses – second tour, and 12 skulls, his third tour.
ME470 was also a Mk I. It carried a picture of a nude girl dropping a bomb seated on a crescent moon and 25 bombs mission markings.
This photograph was taken after the art work was removed.

Dear Antoni
I'm Alex Kontiveis, the kit maker.
Your pics are remarkable, and I have to admit that I did a mistake on the serial num, according to your sources. When I searched about the 300th Polish sqn, I knew that something went wrong about the particular BHF, and its S.Ns. I managed to gather a couple of pics for the "Girl in a Champagne Glass".
Unfortunately there were no pics (such as yours) to document the exact SN.
I will correct it at once placing the LL804, Its easy.
I have an objection about the fuselage type. According to your very precious pics, the fuselage does not seem to come from a Manchester. That's why I DO believe that the particular BHF was a Mk.III and not a Mk.I
Thank you for sharing with me these fantastic pics. Is it possible to inform me about their source? (feel free to e-mail me)
Best regards
Alex Kontiveis
PS.
I would like to thank , all of you for your kind comments. I appreciate it feel free to ask me for anything!

200 ordered A.V.Roe, Yeadon ME295-ME551. Built as 44 MK Is and 156 Mk IIIs. Delivered between October 1944 and March 1945. Mk I serials;- ME328, ME330, ME350, ME352, ME371-375, ME383-4, ME419-421, ME431-440, ME445-451, ME455-8, ME470, ME474-477, ME479-480, ME482, ME490, ME495.

Hi Antoni. You are right.
In LL804 case...Yes, it comes from Arm. Whitworth and surely concerns Mk.I
I was very confused in making the ME 470 (as I thought so!)
Let me ask U something. According to my sources, A.V. Roe (Yeadon) had produced BI / and BIII for this batch (ME295 -ME551). Is it possible a Mk.III wears a Manchester's fuselage?
I used Techmode's decals for the nose art and SNs. All the rest markings and roundels are painted.
PS...Thank U for this lovely conversation.
