I do not understand why this national insignia has two seperate sections that are added on to the main decal? is it to provide a clean border for the painted on D-day stripes? sorry for asking, no tech support from eagle strike

as applied to 'Gooch' reverse invasion stripes.and how to airbrush on the stripes? mask off applied decals after clearcoat and pray they do not lift off with tape removal

No the 4 insignias with the sections cut out are the smaller ones for the sides of the Jug. Those sections go over the doors on the side of the plane.
By doing this it gives you the option of either building the doors open or close. without having to cut the decal.
The four larger ones are the ones for the wings. Looks like a very nice set and enough for 2 full planes.
