I was surfing around on Google earlier and came across of what appears to be an actual kit of the Ah-56 Cheyenne. Well I did some poking around on some model sites like, Squadron, Great Models, and even Ebay but I can not find a kit of this thing anywhere. I believe I saw that it was 1/72, but I dont even know if it is an actual kit. The web site was in Korean so I couldnt read a darn thing. Anyone want to shed some light on this for me please?

Aurora made a Cheyenne kit years ago in 1/72 scale. Depending on how bad you want to build one, it's probably worth more as a collector's item.

Hmm, how rare are they now? I ask because yes I would like to build one but not at a great expense. Thanks Mike.

Not sure if John Burns of Kit Collector's Clearinghouse has a website, but that would be your best bet to find a "blue book" value on the Aurora kit, unless anyone in Armorama has a good estimate?

Google search shows a resin 1/72 AH-56 kit by Czech firm MiKu (#72066). Go to
http://www.5chr.freeserve.co.uk/hkn092.htm If you could find the Aurora kit, you'd be getting a '60's era kit at a stratospheric price.

I saw one in the box this spring at NOreastcon in Buffalo NY for about $40, I think. I built this a few years ago and it's definitely rudimentary by today's standards, but it's the only gane in town.

Hi Zach, et. al,
I bought one from eBay last spring for about $50. That is what I've watched them go for. Currently there is a built one that looks good on eBay.
It is a rudimentary kit but can be built nicely. I got mine from a guy who gusseyed it up with a PE kit and spares. He wrote for me an extensive description of what and how.
I plan to start mine soon.
