Another quick build over this weekend, the Hasegawa 1/72 scale Mitsubishi J2M "Jack" or raiden, meaning Thunderbolt. Good kit, although an older Hasegawa kit, the decals went on fine except a little bit of film visible on the step areas of the wing. Couldn't do much about that. Hope you enjoy looking. Why you didn't glue the canopy to the fuselage? It looks a bit odd this way...

Hey Michael, you're right, the canopy didn't fit right. I took it off and sanded the back end of it and it seats a lot better. Thanks. Hope you enjoyed looking otherwise. Russell

Well folks. I've straightened out the canopy on the "Jack". I had to sand down the back of the canopy in order for it to fit, but it does now! Some new photos. Enjoy. Russell

P.S. This was an older Hasegawa kit, that may explain the fit problems.

Hi Russell,

I always liked the Jack. Nice model.
