This is the second of the Eduard Hellcat Combo I've compleated.

Finished in the markings of a FAA 1839 Sqn Mk II in April 1945.

Painted with Revell , Tamiya and Xtracrylix paints.

And finally a picture with the finished Mk I compleated.

I realy enjoyed building these Hellcats and would gladly build another but next time some US Navy schemes

Thanks for looking.

Martin

Martin, very sweet. Great job detailing the finish. Has just the right "used" look. In my opinion that is something that is easy to over do and very often less is more. From what I see, you nailed it.
I'm normally a ship guy, primarily 1/350 USN and IJN ships from the Pacific theater. But, I've been thinking about building up a Hellcat and/or Wildcat, Corsair, etc., to compliment the floaty things. I'm making a mental note of that Eduard kit, thanks to you.
