This is one of the new projects that I´m dealing with. It´s a F 100D Super Saber in Vietnam. The configuration will be a typical one of ground attack. The Kit is ESCI brand, scale 1/72. The kit is from de mid´s eighties but it´s really good. Fit is perfect, no putty needed only smooth sanding. Detail is with engraved panel lines and very crispy. Clear parts ar thin and nicely transparent. I used Mr Surfacer 1200 to achieve a smooth finsh.
Critics are welcome.

I made some advance. Painting finished using Humbrol enamels (28 - 116 - 117- 118) for the wings, stabs and fuselage and Model Master Burnt Metal and Burnt Iron Buffing Metalizars for the back part of the fuselage that covers the engine.
Next I´ll work the Metal finish and give a gral. wash of black very diluted with tupertine.

Thank you Siderius. The paint job is taking a lot of time. I guess next week it will be finished.

Hello fellows:

I´ve done some more paintwork and applied the gral. wash. Now i´ll have to clean some parts of the wash.
More pics, comments and critics are welcome.

That's a very nice model
For continiuing, I can suggest you to do some airbrush fadings
Happy endings

Cheers Nick

Hello fellows.
I made some progress. The painting is finished and also the overall coating with future and decaling.
Now I´ll paint the canopy and the rest of the armament. I´ll give the gral weathering after the satin cote.

Hi fellows:
The construction and painting is finished. The overall coat is Humbrol Satin Cote.
I´ll paut some weathering with chalk pastels in some places and a wash in the gear struts and thats all.

More pics when weathered

That's a very nice model Mr. Carlos.
But it is a bit bland in my opinion! It needs some fadings (drybrush with white oil paint is one of the best!) or postshading to become superb

Cheers Nick

Very nice build. You did a great job on the camouflage and the exhaust weathering.

Thanks for sharing
