This is my 1/72 scale Special Hobby Blohm & Voss BV P212.
This model was built O.O.B. and painted with Model Master enamels, markings came from my spare decal box.

A great build Les. I really enjoy your backgrounds too. Are you still painting with enamels? Oil based paints huh? Well, I thought I'd ask. I really like my acrylics but some don't I've heard. Good job, an interesting subject as many of the Luftwaffe '46 kits are. Russell

Thanks very much Russell!

Yes I still prefer using enamels, I use Model Master enamels most often but sometimes use Xtracolor paints. For spraying very fine details I get better results from the Xtracolor paints, the pigments appear to be ground finer than those used in the Model Master paints.
I have sprayed oil paints through my airbrushes before and they work good enough but the downside to using them is they take a couple days to fully dry.
Of course I often use oil paints in the panel lines of my models and for other weathering effects.
On this little BV P212 model there was almost no weathering done to it as I wanted to have this one look like an almost new aircraft fresh from the factory.

My next couple models will be a Ta 152C and Fw 190D-13, both 1/48 scale.
