Should my USN A1-H Skyraider have a flat or gloss finish?
Thanks

A quick check of 1 internet resource suggests gloss for the Gray / White schemes (FS 16440 Gloss Gull Grey & FS 17875 Gloss White). Same place suggests that Glossy Sea Blue (AN 623) is also glossy. Althought I've seen it as satin in some resources.
Hope that helps until a real expert chimes in...

since you say A-1H,,,,,,that makes it Flat Light Gull Gray on the top, and Gloss White on the bottom, and on the control surfaces
if you really meant AD-6 (the old designation for A-1H), it's Sea Blue Gloss overall
on my shelves, I don't like to see the "glaring gloss" in small scale,,,,,so I final coat with a sheen just a bit flatter than Semi Gloss,,,,,they vary just a bit from plane to plane because I mix Tamiya Flat Base with Future each build
hope this helps
