Greetings all
I am building two Academy Tomcats and was wanting to know the correct colors for both builds. One is an early Wolfpack Cat in the Grey over White scheme. The next is a Sundowners bird in the 80s all over grey high vis scheme. The reason i am asking is i cant get Modelmaster paints so it will have to be Gunze or Tamiya colors. Many thanks for any help.

Hi Mike,
According to The Home of M. A. T. S. - The Most Comprehensive Grumman F-14 Reference Work (http://www.anft.net/f-14/f14-detail-colours.htm), the mid-80s Tomcat camouflage scheme was FS 16640, Gloss Gull Gray. It was still a high-visibility scheme, but slightly less than the gray over white scheme.
Hope this helps!
Tom
