Thomas,

A belated thank you for this link. I tried (unsuccesfully) to get my hands on the Aber Product and in the end used this link to find a Canadian supplier for the Air Master Series. They arrived yesterday and they are indeed unbelievable.
Better price by far and a truly incredible quality. I got three sets (funny, I have 2 Roden and one WNW suitable kits sitting beside the work desk!?)
Checking out another thread I found photos of the other (Aber) product and they look identical in quality and presentation. Does anyone know if they are one and the same marketed under different logos?

Cheers,
JackFlash

Lance

No they arent quite the same, both superb products, but for your extra £ or $ the Aber has cocking mechanisms and breech block details with it too. So you have 2 choices really depending on how happy you are with the rest of your Maxim's details.

*Plea for info*
I havent had my hands on either but would be interested to see whose Gun size they cater for as Rodens maxims are shorter than WNW's.

The Master Spandaus are beautiful. They come with pre-rolled barrels wich are seemless. I got one put together yesterday.

The length does not really matter. The barrels are matched to the jackets. Only the body of the Spandau is used. I haven't compared the lengths of the finished products yet. I will try to shoot pics later.

Hey Stephen. Are the cocking handles correct on the WNW kit?

Greetings Carl,

The four colour lozenge fabric stock used on the LFG Roland D.VIa were purchased from Fokker Schwerin. Evidently LFG had company reps at Schwerin for the purchase and noted the Fokker Spade cocking handles on their machines. LFG Roland copied these.
