the small wing piece that fits into place is going to take alot of blending in.

its going together quite well, not much putty to apply and seems to be close to being historically correct.I may add aftermarket cannons as the stock ones are bogus and very difficult to drill out.the cowling was a bit difficult to line up. my mildly awesome work area...used to be a nursery from previous owner.

I am taking a break with this build, I am not able to airbrush the alclad, too cold out in garage, and my paint booth is lacking venting ability.I am going to modify my booth with aluminium ducting and ditch the accordion type ducting, too much resistance to flow.May add another fan and plan on placing a duct exaust through the wall, I shall never surrender!

Hi Dave,
Yes, NMF = no place to hide defects! But NMF is such an attractive look!
Is that a Revell Raiden in the background??
I have shot acrylic and enamels when cold. I kept the airbrush, paint, and model in a warmer area until ready. Worked OK.

I am taking a break from this project until the weather warms up or I improve my spray booth...its in the house I have moved on to a B-17 that I am building for a WW2 vet, painting it with acrylics.
