Great job Nick! The chipped paint and other weathering looks good.

If you aren't doing it already, apply a thin coat of primer before painting the main colors. You can use gray enamel if you can't get anything else. It helps me find the mistakes I make (putty and gap filling CA are my best friends)...

Great build, Nick. I am not convinced that the wing panels would be that heavily worn, but it could have happen none the less.
It has been a pleasure to follow your build in the campaign tread and see the final result here.

Great work. Looking forward to see your next project.

Thanks for sharing

Hello Mr. Jesper
Yes, I know about the overdone chipping, that's a mistake of mine that I'll never do it again

Thank you for your kind words

Cheers Nick

Hi Nick,

Nice job on Shangri-La! Gentile is a favorite of mine. I built Shangri-La a few years ago and it is the first real-person aircraft I have built in years (mainly I make up my own unit and/or personal markings.) I have Howard's Ding Hao! "in progress" (for the past 3 years ) -- his is the other of my most liked ETO P-51s.

Looking forward to your next model!
