This Tamiya kit was fun to build, the painting and weathering took up most of the time on this one.

Excellent painting, very convincing cowl oil stains, wingroot and cowl MG access door paint chipping. I like the photography, too.

I wanted this model to look like a war weary Fw 190F and had wanted to have it even more weathered than this but I also wanted to have it finished by Dec. 31 so the weathering process was cut back a bit.
My next Fw 190 will be a Dora ''blue 12'' W.Nr. 500570 and that aircraft also had a very weathered look to it and I will be taking a little more time to weather it just like it looks in the photographs taken on the day it was captured.
