I recently got an Academy 1/48 F-14A Bombcat in a trade, and the only way I will build a Tomcat is as an operational TARPS bird. I also got two aftermarket decal sheets, but neither one will do a TARPS bird. They are VF Decals VFD48-008 for VF-31 (2006), and Fightertown Decals FTD48-002 for VF-24. Are there any colorful aftermarket decals that are designed for a TARPS F-14A? I tried to search the various online stores, but their decal sheet descriptions aren't very helpful in that matter.

Noticed you contacted practically every online mag. You need these decals dont you! I noticed Fightertown decals FTD48-003 Pukin Dogs has a TARPS section. Dog 100 and 111 are TARPS capable. Just niticed tht the decals are for F-14B's. Damn!! Sorry Larry.

I don't know if this helps but when I was on the forrestal in the late 80's early 90's any tomcat with the numbers 205, 207, and 210. were always tarps birds. according to the airlant officers that was fleet wide at the time. I assume that has since changed.
