This is my first for 2011 but it has taken 4 years to finish. Did not enjoy building it - just did not like the kit (hence 4 years in the making). Personally i'm not over joyed with the result but Hey, it's done! Please critique.

The kit looks very well !
The build seems ok and the paint job too.
Why didnŽt you like the kit ?

Hi Guys thanks for kind words. As Justin said - the fit on many of the parts was attrocious to say the least. But beyond that I simply did not like the way the kit was engineered. Many of the parts were very difficult to paint because the kit was just not broken down in an orderly manner - as I said it's difficult to put my finger on it, it was just not a pleasant kit to build.

Damn, I have the Tamiya version but have never taken it out of the box. Even with the trouble you had with this Hasegawa version, you've done an outstanding job Geoff. I'd be proud to have it in my display cabinet.

You have done a nice job on a kit you did not even like, that is for sure. Even so it is a cool one of a kind bird. It is a sad story that the RAF have decided to make aluminium cans of theirs.
