I've never seen it. Closest thing you'll find is 1/32, and there are plenty of those. Quality varies depending on the kit/manufacturer.

There are a couple of helicopters available in 1/35. Of course they are not WWII vintage. As far as I know those are the only aircraft in 1/35 scale. As was mentioned above, there are some in 1/32 scale.

Actually, there are a couple of 1/35 scale kits. I don't know who originated them, but I have an old one made in Japan by Tomy. It is a 1/35 scale George (N1K1?) single engine Japanese fighter complete with battery powered prop. Squadron Mail Order used to show a couple of 1/35 scale Japanese fighters on their website. They still list a Nichimo Zero Type 52 A6M5 for $20.

In that case you can find a 1/35th Huey.
Panda and Academy (MRC) all make 1/35th UH-1s.

Actually the 1/32 scale aircraft a very close to 1/35 vehicles and figures and the difference would hardly be noticeable. i have the Hasegawa Bf 109 G-6 and the pilot figure actually looks to be 1/35 scale. I've seen a lot of dioramas use 1/35 and 1/32 scale aircraft and vehicles/figures and they look fine! Good luck! Jeff

Greets,

Nichimo makes a 1/35 Kawanishi George. I have the model and am willing to part with it.

It has raised rivets and not much for the cockpit, but all the control surfaces are moveable/positionable.

It can build into a nice model and as a prop (pardon the pun) for a diorama, it would look nice next to a conquering Amtrak, Buffalo, Sherman...

I understand that Nichimo/Tomy also makes the Zero and Frank in 1/35. I have Tomy's Frank. Spartan cockpit, no engine but the surface detail is good.

Contact me if you want the George.
