Hello, need some info:

I bought a SDD F18 Hornet, ESCI kit in 1/72
The schemes are for the #5 and #6 prototypes.
Could sombody tell my if with this kit and an aftermarket decal set can be built a F 18A ?
What means the letters SDD ?

Thanks

If it were me I would get references for an A model and just add to your proto type what you don't see

Those aren't prototypes BTW, but as mentioned SDD or FSD (Full Scale Developement) F/A-18s.

IIRC, MicroScale printed an FSD F-18 sheet years ago. I built # 1 & 3 FSD Hornets for a client in the 90s I used the original 72nd Hasegawa/Minicraft kits, which had nice printed Scale Master decals.

Thank you Mike, Iīll chek in the web for the FSD F-18 MicroScale decals. The ones that comes with the kit are really bad. Maybe I can use them for de SDD.
