I am preparing to start on my F4U-A Corsair and would like to spray it with metalizer before I paint with the acrylics so I can chip the paint and have the metallic surface underneath. My question is, will the Tamiya acrylics bond to the surface covered with the metalizer paint? thanks.

Tyler, I use this method all the time and have never had a problem.
I've never had any problems using Tamiya over Model Master Metal paints or any other metal paints.
One tip I'd throw at ya would be to use a metal paint sealer over the metal paint to "lock" it in. That way when everything is done you won't accidently pick all the way through the layers to the bare plastic.
