Well, I had the impression we weren't that many interested by the campaign...
The helicopter campaign proposed by someone else seams to have much more success.

So why don't we do a little "rising sun unofficial groupy" ?
Let's go for japanese aircraft of WWII (what we're all interested in).
Starting date could be october the 1st. Finnishing date... 3 months later, or probably as late as we want...
We can start later if you need more time to get your kits.
There would be no campaign page... only discussions on the forum.

good news : I finaly baught a digicam yesterday, so I'm going to flood you all with pictures !!!!!

That's weird, 'cause I thought a bunch of folk were interested... the early posts seemed to get a lot of response, although there was talk of things getting too diluted due to the wide time-period encompassed by the subject.

I think we should try to suss out who's up for an official Rising Sun Campaign (check out the old posts) and, if there's really not much interest, do as you say and make it a "informal gathering" of our own...

I actually haven't seen anything about the helicopter campaign since it was first suggested - is it going ahead? I'll have to hunt down some threads...

:-) Yeah I thought this was official. If there isn't enough interest we can do our own little thing, I have a Betty bomber that needs to be done. I would like to bet that there will be enough interest, if there is can we start November time?
