Hi Fredrik,

It seems that you have found your way through... The Viggen looks terrific, and it only confirms my say that it was one of the best looking airframes. I am glad that you chose to follow your own instinct, rather than trying to copy others - regardless of usefulness of their comments. Congrats!!

Thanks for all comments during the building process.

I can only agree that it is a nice looking airframe and a rather odd bird.

I had a few ideas on how to the colour modulation but I have not tested any of them before so yes, in a way I followed my instinct. Actually this plane is weathered more like a tank than an aircraft regarding to how I did it.

Nevertheless I am very grateful for all comments, tips and ideas. All of them were smart and useful. Believe me, I did not invent any of the steps in this building process, I have copied many of your ideas

Well, I don't know about the others, but to me Viggen does look like a tank, which only emphasizes the rigidity of the aircraft itself. Beautiful Swedish camo only adds to the overall impression of the airframe that could withstand some maltreatment and neglect. Yet, you did not overdo the effects in the end. I think that's what makes this kit very appealing.

Great job done. This is the best Viggen I have seen for a long, long time. The weathering and the work with Mico Mesh did the trick to blend in the colors. Your work with the two seated Viggen has really inspired me and I have taken a look in one of my Viggen boxes and its now on my “to do list”. I found out that Maestro Models has now the emergency generator in resin so that’s something to get for my project.
