Hi All

I recently received news that unfortunately for, personal reasons, Bruce (Greyghost666) has had to step down as Campaign Leader for the Civilian Plane and the Hangar Queen Campaigns.

Jim (JimMrr) has volunteered to run the Civilian Planes Campaign but would anyone like to step up to the plate and run the Hangar Queen campaign? if so please post here or PM me

On a different note, Just a thought but in future would it be advantageous to see if we could deputise campaigns so if the leader does go AWOL then the deputy can stand in?

I can step in for either of these if needed. I may not finish many builds, but I can keep an eye on campaigns just fine. I am only going to be running two campaigns of my own starting later this year.

If the deputy system is implemented, I would be happy to be the deputy of any campaigns being run by any campaign leaders I know on here. Just let me know.

Thanks for the offers. Sean (windysean) has volunteered to lead the Hangar Queen Campaign.

I'm sure you will all help Sean and Jim run these campaigns in Bruce's place.

Allen has a good idea here. Good to have his and Sam's fresh and innovative ideas.

I like the idea also and think that on the campaign page there should be a slot for a wing man

Not really a new idea , for the campaigns which I had in the past I had a wing man in case something came up and had to use them a few times .

I do like the idea of this being on the campaign page so other folks know who to turn too in case of questions on the rules or what they can enter with if the leader is not available .

Agreed Terri as myself and Allen have always deputised for each other with Tomcat campaign and my 'What If' starting in Oct. We are hoping to get the deputy name to show up on the campaign page as you have said Justin, but also see if there is a way of getting the deputy to have the same admin rights as the campaign leaders have for their campaigns. In the past the deputies have only been able to answer questions or bump the threads etc but if we can get it to work the deputies would be able to upload the ribbon, edit the campaign details and also award the ribbons at the end of the campaign.
