Hello!

The last days i was committed to finish some projects that have been lurking around on the bench for some time now...

This one is special...

One day i was with my wife in the hobby room, and asked her to pick a model from the stash for me to build. In the middle of 100+ WWII and post WWII models, she went straight towards the few biplanes that i had and chose Eduard´s Albatros D.III and asked me to build it in Werner Voss´s markings!!!
Never before had i constructed such a model... and immediately started thinking about rigging, struts and two wing allignemt..

Bottom line, i really enjoyed this project and surely it will not be the last one!

My wife loved it and i also did!!!!

Here are some pics taken outside to take advantage of the very nice light in Azorean Afternoon...

i´ll open up with a pic taken from my balcony framing my island with São Jorge and Pico islands on the background!!!
My best regards!!
José Pedro

Very nice build. The paint is clean and subtle, as this scale dictates. I really hope you do a few more early aviation subjects, as promised. You really have a gift, as this build proves.
