Looks good to me Jim, very dark and sinister. What did you think of the kit. Are they cannons sticking out of the wings?
All the best.

Tim: The color is dark sea blue (Model Master) I toned it down with a weathering wash that was the original color with 25% flat white. I used three coats of Micro Satin to finish. Those are canon in the wings. The night fighting Hell Cats had those installed beginning in late 1944. The model depicts Black Death as it appeared in April 1945 on Oknawa.
The kit is great. Just make sure you follow the assembly sequence, if you don't you can get bitten down the road.

Nice build, Jim. You did a good job on it. The very dark build are really difficult to weather.
I have the same kit in the stash and I am looking forward to build it - some day...
