Bought a plastic digital caliper (not a Model Craft) somewhere for ~U$10. Not worth it, too flexible. Next time, I'll get one with a stainless body.

This is not a shot at Model Craft but these calipers look just like the ones you can get at Harbor Freight in the US for a lot less!
I have a couple of pair that look just like this with the same case but got mine for about $12.00 bucks. They have many sizes from small to large along with micrometers at very cheap prices. Sign up for their email alerts and about every other week their is a 20% off coupon on any item included.
