Hi Nick! I would like to ask how was the kit? Any troubles with fitting parts?

Hello Mr. Naseby
At first I'd like to say that this is a revell kit BUT from Italeri molds!
Absolutely no problem except the engine fuselage part that needs some care (no fitting drivers) and the back part of the canopy. I also added the Swastikas that they where missing from the decal sheet. An other thing is that YOU MUST add the antenna wire
But you didn't tell me your comments
Cheers Nick

Really nice build Nick, looks great! I recently finished this kit with markings for a D-1 (T6+BC) W.Nr 2491, Stab II./St.G 2, Rosja, Iato 1942. My decals were included in a book I purchased from Kagero. The book is excellent and with the masks and decals constituted a real bargain. I am building RoG's 1/32 JU 87D and plan to use the same aircraft markings in 1/32 as I did with the 1/72 kit. It will be like a little Stuka and it's big brother. Besides, the decals are of excellent quality. Anyway sorry to ramble. I just wanted to let you know what was out there for this aircraft. Once again nice build. Take care. Jim

I like it. This camo if far more interesting than the green/green most people seem to prefer. I will probably pick up one of these, since I dont have any Stukas in my stash.
PS You had to poke me about the antenna didnt You Well since my plastic pilots dont need to hang out their laundry I will stick to my priorities, which are good blood pressure and less stress Seriously I envy You bois and girls who can make antennas and rigging.

Thanks again
Yes, it is the splinter (green/green) pattern which I paint, then masked with blue tack and sprayed the Desert yellow
I also did the wash (paynes grey below and ivory black and raw umber on the up surfaces) Postshading for shading and titanium white oil for drybrush fadings
(I did not mentioned to varnishes and decals because it is something usual & "must do" in building models!)
Cheers Nick
