Looks like the WnW 5 colour Lozenge and solid colour rib tapes are available! I posted this in the "whats coming 2011" thread last night, but thought (this morning after some sleep) to put it here as well.

Stephen,
I replied and had a couple of queries for you (In your role of the "Grand Lozenger"! ) on the What's Coming 2011 Thread. I wondered why there wasn't a separate one for this bit of news. I'll watch both unless you do a magic transfer; suspect there'll be a fair amount of activity and dialogue on this topic as the forum members start to use and evaluate the products. Mine were ordered as soon as I got your announcement.
Thanks and Cheers!

I am guessing this is NOT the same stuff they used in the LVG. Can anybody clarify this for us?

See, this is what happens when I stay up til 3AM trying to get the colour right on my latest WWI aircraft build. . .Where have I heard that before? Oh well, to get to it. I am in the middle of the review on the Doug Baumann 1:32 5 colour lozenge. and will do a review on the the WnW sets as soon as I get them. I can see that the larger we go with this stoff (Farben flugzeugstoff that is) the more we should consider texturing. Everyone will still remeber the fine works of Brad Cancian, Mikael Terfors (Doug baumann's loz.) and others in the WnW GB 2009-10.
The aim will be to show the lozenge as scale printed fabric instead of painted on or decaled wings. The WnW colours are not bad for the intermediate sets. Though on my monitor the WnW lt green looks too much like sour apple. So I am going to refrain from further comment till I get these in my hands and see for myself. ( I can see German Lozenge 301 becoming a reality. )

Here is a bit of fun from Richard Alexander.
"Hi Stephen,
I appreciate you bringing these to modellers attention. Thanks.
It's been a long journey but they are finally released, although I'm sure the colours will not be to everyone's liking but they do match the samples we had access to.
It should also be noted that, in conjunction with Cartograf, we have improved the Lozenge printing process so that they are more akin to what was included in the Pfalz D.IIIa (with subtle overlaps) and not the LVG C.VI (which were a little too 'dotty' for some tastes).
Regards
Richard"

Well if the 4 colour as supplied with the Roland is anything to go by, the finish is much much more to my liking.
Only the prospect of the *handling charge* if this is delivered through PARCELFORCE here in the UK and VAT puts me off ATM. My DIII (OAW) has been patiently sitting waiting for either WNW or Pheon to release some good Loz.
Keith.

No first impression Stephen?
Keith / Stephen,
Got mine in the mail yesterday; incredibly fast service from WNW as has been my experience. Looking forward to your assessment, Stephen, and any first impressions as well. From my "fondling" of the sheets so far I am very impressed with the products. Like the colors.....especially the Lower Sheets.
As I have 5 weeks to go to real retirement and some serious building hopefully the feed back here will be helpful when I do get to use them. Plan for now is to use them on the WNW Alb DV or Va in conjunction with the Pheon Decals I've got stashed and the Textured stuff still to arrive. I am probably biting off a fairly large chunk trying a bunch of new techniques and products all at once however as our Brit. Buddies say, "In for a penny, in for a pound!"
I'll need to get going on my KotS Build (Roden DIII early) prior to all this however which will be more of a re-boot of long unused skills and orientation exercise then competition level entry.............. all the more enjoyment in my view.
Stand by for some serious whining and pleas for help, I'm sure.
Exciting prospects, at least in this little guys world!
Cheers,
