Fokker 1/24
Inspired by the work of John Reid and some old models which I saw in the museum ,I decided to try my first scratch build. My choice is Fokker E.III, because it has the many references on the net, and look easy enough for an early plane.
Any advice is welcome

Beautiful start.
You should add this build to the GB going on here. It's free.

done.

No plastic on this , strictly old school, lathe & hammer
Plastics next time, I've never worked WW I plane in plastic,I am still afraid of riging in plastic.
I need advice, can the fuel tank be painted in color of brass, or have to be gray ?

Hi Dani:
Your English is fine and understandable. Your work is great. You are progressing. It will be neat to see this unfold as you do the interior work.

Thanks friends for your kind words .
I'm glad that you like. I prefer plastic, but this I had to try, and I must say I really enjoy this metallurgy.
There are news, but these days there are problems upload pictures to the gallery
I made cylinders.
Quiz, How many cylinders should be made for this engine?
Answer: 10, 9 for a motor and 1 for Lawsons black hole under the table
