What are the two colors that Modern U.S. Navy planes are today?
I think that white is the bottom color. Modelmaster enamels please.
Thanks!

The current colors for US Navy AC are a couple shades of gray or overall gray. There is NO white in currnet general usage except for some non-combat AC, such as the Provider and trainers. You may be thinking of the high visibility AC of the 50's through late '70's where the upper color was gloss gull gray with white control surfaces and undersides and brightly colored markings. Since the late '70's the navy has adopted 2-3 shades of light gray for combat AC and lo-vis markings of gray. Typical colors would be FS 36270, 36275 and 36495.
