That’s right…a super Super Hornet mega build. All are 1/48th Hasegawa kits. 2 F/A-18F’s, FA/18E and a F/A18C.

One of the F/A-18F will be converted into an EA-18G Growler for the AfterBurnner Campaign. I’ll be scratchbuilding most of the conversions. I’m going to cast resin the electronics pods from the Kinetics EA-6B Prowler kit. I know I could buy the Steel Beach conversion but I thought go the whole nine yards...it’s modeling right!

VFA-105 Gun Slingers, Big Bandit Charlie Hornets, E/A-18G VAQ-132 Stingers, VFA-102 Diamondbacks

Happy Modeling,
Joe

Thanks Scott, it’s going to be interesting but fun…sadly I’m depleting my Hornets stash leaving me a E’ model. I’d like to find a colorful decal for the one.

Happy Modeling,
Joe

Jeez, Joe!!! This is going to be interesting for me, too!

I find myself struggling to build even one jet continuously...

I'll definitely be watching!!
Godd luck and have tons of fun!

Thanks Leo

First update…The F/A-16C is sub assembled and finished awaiting paint and decals. Next up will be the E’ model. As for the two F’s I’ll be building them at the same time.

Happy Modeling,
Joe

Your nuts Joe...I'm just saying..

Are you going to do the 'Stars & Stripes' scheme on the F-18C? I love that scheme.
