Started to make my 5th ever model today, the Revell Eurofighter 1:48. Some pics,

Sprayed up the parts in number 64 Humbrol grey, and started weathering, i have gone for a clean look as its not really an old used plane, which bring out the panel gaps, but iv left a dirty used effect in places in small amounts

have varnished some of the pieces, some close ups of the panel details brought out by weathering

Nice start Steve. Did you use a "sludge wash" for the panel lines ? Keep posting and I'll keep looking as the Euro Fighter is one of my favorite new jets.
Have a great weekend ! Tom

Hiya, i used a custom mix of thinners and humbrol black paint for the wash, then washed off with whitespirit and paper towel,

Nice!
I suppose it fits great, otherwise I wouldn't understand why you started painting it before assembly!

Hi Steve,

I am currently building one of these but the build has stalled because the the wings don't line up. The starboard wing leading edge is set back about 1/2inch from the port one. Looking at your photos, yours is the same. I am just trying to get some refs to see if its correct or not.
